The Loxley Collection is a small, but growing collection of premium hotels in stunning locations that includes the White Hart Hotel in historic Uphill Lincoln, the Polurrian on the Lizard in South Cornwall, and the Hotel Victoria in Robin Hood’s Bay, North Yorkshire. The collection also includes the luxury fully serviced Georgian Townhouse at No. 7 Castle Hill in Lincoln, together with the adjacent grandeur of the soon to be transformed Judge’s Lodgings and the 16th Century ‘half timbered’ Leigh Pemberton House.
Our brand identity design was inspired by the feather in the fictional Robin Hood’s cap, a chapeau à bec meaning 'hat with a beak'. The hat was originally worn by nobles and royalty and often decorated with feathers. This symbolism worked well with the positioning of the luxury hotels within the collection, as well as suggesting a hint of the luxury pillows available!
