Working closely with Hotel Meudon’s new owners, we had the joy of designing the new brand identity, sub-branding, stationery, menu’s & signage, for Cornwall’s ‘best-kept secret’ - a luxury laid-back hotel in Falmouth.
THE only hotel in Cornwall with its own 200 year old nine acre subtropical garden (choc full of rare plants) and secluded beach (Bream Cove).
We crafted our client’s vision for an elegantly refined brand identity that whispered understated luxury and sophistication.
Our visual language includes a colour palette which mirrors the newly revamped rich tones of the interior, inspired by the glossy dark green Camelia leaves and golden autumnal seed heads found in the garden.
With supporting Victorian etching-style illustrations, straight from the (imaginary) pages of the famous Fox family sketchbooks, the intrepid plant-hunter’s who created the garden in the 1800’s.
And, with a view of the lush garden from every window, guests are sure to feel instantly transported straight to the tropics!
